FIB Investigates Possible Homicide In Mirror Park

         A death that stuns a neighborhood, LSPD finds body of man in backyard pool. According to police, fowl play is believed to be involved. FIB is leading the investigation but little has been released at this time. When neighbors were asked about the esident, they told us that he was a pleseant man but not always home.

SAHP Investigate Morning Crash

     San Andreas Highway Patrol detectives are investigating an early morning crash that left one man critically injured. Troopers arrived to the scene to find a Buffalo smashed into a highway guardrail near downtown. Little is known about the accident at this time.

Roll Over Near Lifeinvader

    A late night rollover accident sends one man to a local hospital Sunday. LSPD and SAHP detectives have determind that speed and alchohol were factors in this accident. Luckily, only the driver of this car was injured. The driver is expected to appear in court in May.

Shots Fired Near Grove Street

     Los Santos Police responded to a 911 call at the gas station on Grove St in the southside of Los Santos to find a hostage situation. After attempting negotiations, swift action from officers on scene was what had brought the situation to an end. Nothing more has yet been released.

Vice Presidential Arts Awards

     In two weeks, Vice President Joe Biden will be visiting the city at the Betsy O'Neil Music Hall. He will be here to attend his Vice Presidential Arts Awards ceremony, an event that recognizes talented youth from the Los Santos area that have done great achievements through the arts, or made a significant impact on the community through them.

    Regional law enforcment agencies are gearing up for what may be a hetic day of a Presidential visit. LSPD has told us that even though this is a special event, protestors may still show up and do thier thing. They will be taking the appropriate precautions, as well as keep watch on the lawful assembly permits.

Bus Struck By Police Car

     Friday evening, while returning to a rental shop, this bus was struck by a passing police car. No injuries were reported, but there is damage to the bus, as well as the building the bus veared into. 

   LSPD has no official statement, but they are investigating.

FIB Investigating Bullet Riddled Car

    Over the weekend, a hiker discovered a puzzling scene while hiking in the Land Act Reservoir just outside of east Los Santos. LSPD arrived and requested the FIB to assist in investigating. 

   According to media sources, this white and red Gauntlet was covered in bullet holes on the driver's side. No body was located at the scene, and no official statement has been released by authorities.

Congratulations to both the 2014-1 and 2014-2 police academy classes. Both groups have graduated members of the Los Santos Police Department and the Los Santos County Sheriff's Office.
