Ports and Aviation, as well as Los Santos County Fire Rescue, were dispatched to a call in Tongva where a car had driven off the freeway into the water bellow. Upon arrival, the PAAU units found one person in the water unconcious, and one still trapped in the car. Officials were able to extracate the party before the tide came in. Both parties were air lifted to a local hospital. The crash is under investigation by SAHP.

Emergency crews were dispatched to a multi-car accident in the afternoon of the third on US 68 near the Sandy Shores and Harmony town line. The Sheriff's Office states that there was a Dashound coach bus involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle which caused a chain reaction. As a result, one person was pronounced dead and eleven more were transported to area hospitals with various conditions.
The accident is still under investigation.

Los Santos County emergency services, with the assistance of the highway patrol, responded to a rollover accident on the Tongva and Harmony town line. Upon arrival, crews discvovered a station wagon on its side and one male occupant trapped inside. Ports an Aviation was called to the scene to med-a-vac the occupant to Sandy Shores where he is now in stable condition.
SAHP states that speed may have been a factor as the car was travelling westbound on US 68, when it drove off a curve onto the side road.

Los Santos County Sheriff's deputies responded to a home in Paleto Bay over the weekend. It started when a neighbor called police after seeing the resident carrying a women over his shoulder towards the home. The woman began fighting, at which time, the man dropped her and ran in his house.
The man then baracaded himself in his home until deputies arrived and took action. Four deputies formed up and entered the home after failed negotiations and were forced to shoot the suspect as he pulled a shotgun.
The suspect was pronounsed dead at the scene and the woman is expected to be OK.

Winter Storm Samuel has now passed over the state and moved on. The snow is not expected stay long but it caused traffic and other problems durng the entire duration of the storm. Parts of Los Santos County experienced power loss and the San Andreas Highway Patrol stated they had over 50 accidents reported across the region, along with 44 spin outs and 30 additional motorist assist calls. Even as the snow melts, the memories shall remain.

Looks like it will be a white Christmas here in San Andreas as winter storm Samuel enters the region. We will be expecting up to 6 to 8 inches in some areas. San Andreas Highway Patrol and the Department of Transportation are urging motorists to use caution whil driving, especially in the snow. SADOT will be out in full force begin this afternoon. In adition, the San Andreas Emergency Operations Center willl be open at 8 PM tonight.
We will also be monitoring the Christmas Day storm and providing additional information.
